  | so when it comes to fire we will be showing you more on that with up coming video's but as a general rule there's not much more to it with us then strikers, pretty much the best way to get sure fire in any conditions.. and combine-able with countless man made and natural tinder. birch bark scraped to prepare it for ignition. or what i call coal fungus the Latin name is Daldinia Concentrica. some people refer to it as king Alfred cake, basically the fungus will take a ember like chard cloth even a dull one from a iron and flint set or similar. then proceed to crackle and ember much like that of a BBQ coal. from this you can use it to set ablaze your kindling, perhaps birch bark. or some fat wood. either way its just a good sustainable source of ignition. fire bow/drill = ember + coal fungus = crackling coal + birch bark + pine kindling = a roaring fire for you sir.   |
